4 SENTENCED FOR ILLEGAL HAWKING OF TRADITIONAL MEDICINE

Four people were yesterday sentenced to six months in prison for illegal hawking of traditional medicine. The men who were given an option of N20,000 fine, were said to have used vulgar language in hawking the drugs.
A statement by the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Private Health Institutions, Dr Salisu Ahmed Ibrahim, said government has banned the use of public address system to hawk drugs in the state. He therefore advised those engaging in such to desist or face the law.
