Okorocha appoints sister, 20 others as aides

Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo state has appointed his younger sister, Mrs. Ogechi Ololo, as Special Assistant on Domestic Affairs.
A statement signed by the Secretary to the Government of Imo State (SGI), Mr. Anthony Anwukah, listed 20 other appointments by the governor including three persons named as mayors for the three geo-political zones in the state.
They are Dr. Goddy Essom Obodo, Mayor Orlu zone; Mr. Tony Black Nduka, Mayor, Okigwe zone; and Mr. Gibson Njemanze, Owerri Mayoral Affairs.

The immediate past Commissioner for Information, Strategy, Culture and Tourism, Mr. Chinedu Offor, was appointed the Deputy Chief of Staff, Government House, Owerri, among a horde of 20 other appointments announced. Commissioners are yet to be appointed after the state executive council was dissolved weeks ago.
