the recommendation of the investigative committee into bribery
allegation against a member of the Committee, Barrister Olaleye
Adepoju, placing a 10-year ban from all football-related activities on
the former chairman of NFF Disciplinary Committee.

Following a meeting of the investigative committee headed by Barrister
Chris Green at the NFF Secretariat in Abuja on Monday, the Emergency
Committee was convened to look into its recommendations with a view to
treating the matter with dispatch.

Apart from Barrister Adepoju, the former Commissioner for Youth and
Sports in Oyo State, Mr. Dapo Lam-Adesina, also bagged a 10-year ban.

It was the unanimous position of the Emergency Committee that the case
against Barrister Adepoju was proved beyond reasonable doubt.

recommendation of the investigative committee into an allegation of
impersonation against the Chairman of Enugu State Football
Association, Mr. Chidi Ofo Okenwa, to the effect that Okenwa, indeed,

RE: 10 YEARS BAN ON DAPO LAM-ADESINA, HOW NFF GOOFED

The NFF committee claimed to have banned Oyo state Former Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Mr. Dapo Lam-Adesina for ordering Shooting Stars to discontinue the match between Sunshine Stars and 3SC in Akure but failed to state where they got their evidence from, more so that the former coach of Shooting Stars Hakeem Busari confirmed that he told NFF Committee in Abuja that nobody told them to discontinue the game but the coaches decided against continuing because of attack on the commissioner and the cameraman which put their own lives in danger too.

This position was re-echoed by the assistant coach, Tunde Odubola who said in an interview that  the attack on Mr. Dapo Lam-Adesina and the cameraman, Mr. Abdulahi Oni was the reason why they have to discontinue the game for fear of their own lives when Mr. Lam-Adesina had fainted and could not even talk.
If this were said by the actors involved,NFF should tell the world where they got the evidence they used against Mr. Dapo Lam-Adesina from.

The same NFF that indefinitely banned Chairman of Shooting Stars supporters club, Alhaji Shina Inaolaji and the secretary, Alhaji Fatai Osho for coming unto the pitch area after the match between Shooting Stars and Kwara United failed to ban Sunshine Stars tout who was caught on camera attacking Shooting Stars cameraman during the game in Akure which was even confirmed by the match Commissioner, Mr. Patrick Pascal in his report.

Three Sunshine Stars officials namely, Mike Idoko, Rasheed Balogun and Fatai Amoo were caught on tape threatening the match officials after Shooting Stars scored a goal in the same match but NFF said nothing about them neither were they punished for this.

The same NFF that said Former Oyo State Commissioner for youth and Sports, Mr. Dapo Lam-Adesina was wrong to have gone to the dressing room in Akure during the game said nothing about his Ondo State counterpart who confirmed by himself that he went to the dressing room to see things for himself during the match, so do we say Ondo State Commissioner is permitted by law to go into the dressing room while his Oyo counterpart is not?

These are issues everyone should be asking in order not to give a dog a bad name..
