For Confronting Mugabe: Zimbabwe takes on Sahara Reporters

A video of Nigerian journalists asking Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe when he is going to stand down has been doing the rounds on social media.

The journalists from Sahara Reporters repeatedly asked him the question and were repeatedly ignored at the inauguration of Nigeria's President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday.

Activists told BBC Focus on Africa's Brian Hungwe that people are not used to seeing journalists getting so close to President Mugabe.

Zimbabwe's Information Minister Jonathan Moyo has been quite vocal on the issue, tweeting various insults about the journalists, calling them political activists masquerading as journalists, Nollywood actors and Boko Haram.
